She tickled the feathers behind it's wings. Said, "you'd fly a lot higher if you just cut the strings". Like a balloon from a child, the sigh and release. From the top of the mountains to the bottom of the streets, she said go. Find yourself some other home, where no one knows your name.
I am the land and this is my ghost. We covered the tracks and hoped for the most. This is my voice from long ago, to use like a compass and fish through the smoke. Our wondering eyes are wondering why we've been so closed off from the world outside. Counting the tiles like day and night. A grid of time, wasted, paralyzed - Just go. Find yourself some other home, where no one knows your name.
I've found my selfish ways have sent me to where I've got to be. A cradle rocks us all to sleep. Now we stand still with what we need.
My body's rising, your voice is calling. Holding my head up for once. I'm free.

After years of playing around in numerous different projects such as, Strangers, pistolita, Mira Loma,and Electric Courage Machine things came to a halt.
